Yesterday I did my part for Earth Day. I rode my bike all day long to do errands and go to meetings. Since September '07, I had been planning to ride my bike to the kids' school whenever possible. Well, uh...good intentions, not-so-good follow through. Now that I've finally done it, I have no excuses. It was so easy, refreshing and rewarding. I am glad that I gave it a try.Despite the dead squirrel I passed, the exhaust fumes I inhaled and the behemoth hill I had to walk up with my bike, it was an enjoyable adventure.
